Tickets for this year’s prestigious Bridgwater Guy Fawkes Carnival concerts can soon be booked online.

Available from the event’s official website tickets for the 2019 show, which starts on Monday 30 September and runs until Saturday 12 October, can be purchased by concert goers at the online shop from Monday 1 April.

Prices for the concert tickets remain unchanged from 2018 and range from £9.50 to £15.

For those people who do not have easy access to a computer, concert tickets can also be pre-ordered by completing a simple form which will be available from Monday 1 April at the Bridgwater Carnival Centre, located in the town’s High Street. Advance tickets ordered by either method will receive the same priority. Tickets will be sent out by post only and will incur a small postal charge and whilst the night is guaranteed, individual seats cannot be reserved.

The popular concerts have been an annual feature in Bridgwater since 1883, and will be seen as a curtain raiser to the eagerly anticipated procession on Saturday 2 November 2019. Over 4,500 tickets are available for the performances, where a cast of over 600 entertainers from 13 carnival clubs, dance troupes and front of curtain acts entertain an enthralled audience. The concert tickets have been kindly sponsored by Somerset Car Sales.

With the carnival procession still over seven months away, preparations are also quickly gathering pace for the town’s biggest night of the year. Tickets for the all seater grandstands which line the carnival procession route will also be available to order from Monday 1 April. Costing £20 each, the tickets will be available online at, at the Carnival Centre or from Mike Crocker on 01278 451415. Last year all 2,200 grandstand tickets sold out six weeks in advance of the big day, and again demand for these highly sought after tickets is expected to be high.
