St Margaret’s Hospice is now in the final month of recruiting Somerset Gardeners to take part in its 2020 Glorious Gardens Season, which will see the sale of special Ruby Sunflowers to help celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Hospice.
With 21 gardens already confirmed, they are just over halfway to their 40 garden target and would welcome gardens of all shapes and sizes, from terraced homes to Georgian Houses , allotments and orchards to take part, as they all offer inspiration and delight to visitors.
Susan Bickle, the scheme coordinator said,
“‘St. Margaret’s Hospice is thrilled that so many gardeners are offering their support to the hospice by sharing their beautiful gardens for us – it offers people an opportunity to see stunning gardens that are normally hidden away from view, while raising much needed funding that is put to immediate use supporting people with life limiting illness and their families throughout Somerset.”
Full support is given to gardens that take part in the scheme, and they are covered by the Hospice Insurance – for more information on how you can join in and support St. Margaret’s Hospice, please contact Susan on 01935 709182, or by email on [email protected]
