At around 10.49pm tonight (Thursday), a tremor was reported by many people living in and around Bridgwater.
I felt the tremor myself in Blacklands and, according to social media, it was felt by many others around the town.
While, for me, it was no more than feeling the movement of the floor and the rattling of items not fixed, others have reported being woken up and pets being upset.
There is currently no information on the British Geological Survey website, but we will keep an eye on this and let you know as soon as we have any further details.

We had early reports which gave different details, as shown below. The difference between 3.2 and 4.5 is huge, with the strength doubling each time, with 3.3 being double what we had last night, 3.4 being double that, etc.
