Yesterday afternoon, 29th September, at 5.15pm, the fire service received a call to attend a fallen beech tree, approximately 30m tall, which had landed on a house and a car, and bringing down telephone lines.
A fire engine from Nether Stowey attended the incident along with the police, Highways and BT.
The incident was cordoned off and duty of care was handed over to the police.
