The first of our Bridgwater Film Festivals is going well when it comes to submissions, with films being submitted from around the world.

Up to this point, we have received submissions from the UK, United States, France, Italy, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Israel, Czech Republic, Australia, Germany, Ireland, the Russian Federation and Canada.

We view all submissions for suitability and entertainment value, we are not an arty festival, and then select the best ones to show, in this case for the Bridgslaughter horror film festival, which is taking place in February 2019.

Countries that have submitted films to the Bridgslaughter Horror Film Festival

Our film festivals have not just been created to give us the opportunity to watch lots of horror, and then call it a job, or even to share those films with you. All the festivals are being used to raise money for The Hub, which is an organisation, based on the first floor of the Angel Place Shopping Centre, which is providing help and support for those living in and around Bridgwater.

All money made through ticket sales, on the door and any additional sales on the night, such as a raffle, goes directly to The Hub – no nonsense about ‘administration’ fees.
