Fire Control received a request for assistance for a wall that had collapsed on a domestic property in Westonzoyland yesterday afternoon, Saturday 17th August at roughly 4.47pm. 

One fire officer was mobilised initially to inspect the damage and he then requested a fire engine from Bridgwater to attend to help try and make the scene safe.

Crews closed the road and cordoned off the area, and asked for their Urban Search and Rescue Team from Clyst, St George to attend and assist with shoring up the building. A building surveyor also attended as well as Western Power to isolate the electrics.

No further information is available at this time.
