As we all remain in our houses, desperately looking for things to do, we could be looking at doing what we have always wanted to do, but have never found the time. Maybe we can look at new things that we could try.
We have set up a challenge for April, giving you something that you can do every day, but something that may end up making you some money and possibly a new career, allowing you to stay at home full time – eventually.
Our Bridgwater Lockdown 30 Day Book Challenge is challenging you to write a 50,000 word book beetween 1st-30th April, but you won’t be on your own, as we’ll be here to support you along with others taking the challenge. If you don’t want to write 50,000 words, or you want to do this with young people, where you set them a limit, then that is no problem, as this is a good way to get going.
The rules are simple:
- Write daily (if you can)
- Select any genre
- Write either a full book or a collection of short stories
- Let us know how you are doing
- Let us know when you complete the challenge
- Stay safe
We are running this challenge through our new website at www.bridgwatercommunity.co.uk/bridgwater-lockdown-30-day-book-challenge
We have a Facebook group which has been set up to provide help & support for this challenge at www.facebook.com/groups/bridgwaterbookchallenge.
