As proud partners of Litter Free Coast and Sea Somerset, Sedgemoor District Council will be completing their own beach clean as part of the 25th annual nationwide Great British Beach Clean, which is run by the Marine Conservation Society. 

The team will complete a beach clean on the hard-to-reach area between Burnham and Berrow on Friday 14th September.

In addition, Litter Free Coast and Sea Somerset will be working with local community groups to run two public events across the weekend in the Sedgemoor area:

Saturday 15th September, 10-12pm
Friends of Berrow Beach,
Meeting at Berrow Church

Sunday 16th September, 14-16pm
Friends of Burnham Beach,
Meeting at the Burnham Sailing club

Litter Free Coast and Sea Somerset and their colleagues at the Severn Estuary Partnership, have been coordinating the first-ever all estuary beach clean over the Severn Estuary.
