A photographers thank-you to Somerset NHS staff, Keyworkers & Local Heroes… as an image can speak 1000 words!
Like everyone else, photographers appreciate everything that NHS staff give to others, especially so during the last few very difficult months.
There is very little more precious than an image of who or what we love, so numerous members from the highly respected Guild of Photographers have launched a “Portraits of Togetherness” campaign, offering free photoshoots and more to local NHS heroes.
Sharon Lewis a registered member with the Guild of Photographers, who runs Photography by Sharon Lewis, a newborn, maternity and child photography studio based near Bridgwater in Somerset is proud to be involved in the “Portraits of Togetherness” campaign.
Sharon Lewis is offering a choice of a newborn mini or baby portrait photography session together with 5 digital images from the session to 3 of our local heroes.
Sharon Lewis wants you to nominate your Somerset NHS staff, Keyworker or local heroes. To do this you simply need to complete the nomination form on their website (www.clementslewis.co.uk), and on 1st July 2020, 3 people will be selected to have one of these photoshoots.
As much as Sharon Lewis wants to give every local hero a free photoshoot, they can’t practically but Photography By Sharon Lewis is offering the opportunity for you to nominate and pay for, or donate towards, additional shoots for local heroes, heavily subsidised by Sharon Lewis. To do this visit this voucher page.
The campaign is being run between 1st June and 1st September 2020, and all the photographers taking part are listed on the Guild of Photographers website, so if you know of heroes elsewhere in the country visit their website.
Guild Directors Steve and Lesley Thirsk said,
“The Guild has an amazing and highly varied photographic community, and many initiatives are member driven, as this one is. We are very proud of Sharon Lewis who has generously committed to this wonderful campaign, and are really looking forward to seeing some of their stunning images from these photoshoots, as well as hearing about the local NHS nominated heroes!”
