Saturday 26th October saw Rhode Lane Wanderers U12s travel away to Hamilton, Taunton to face Taunton Pumas. The ground was sodden and at times, looked like a rugby pitch, but both teams gave it their all with Rhode Lane coming out as the victors.

Bridgwater Lorry Drivers’ Epic Cycle Challenge

Colin Pitham and Colin Cooper, both lorry drivers at Bridgwater’s Nagel-Langdons swapped their LGVs for two wheels, in an epic challenge to cycle from Land’s End to Bridgwater. The novice cyclists are joined on their challenge by Colin Pitham’s son James and the threesome are attempting to cycle 200 miles after they set off on Sunday 8th September.
